Andrew was part of the officer team that set up the Heart of the City project, now regarded as an exemplar of design led regeneration in the UK. He organised the competition for the selection of the design team for the Millennium Gallery and Wintergarden (Architects: Pringle Richards Sharratt), and led the design team for the redesign of the Peace Garden.
Southey Owlerton Green Spaces
Justine worked with SOAR to deliver the Southey Owlerton public spaces strategy. More details to follow.
Andrew advised on the Southey Owlerton streetscene guide, produced by Roger Evan Associates. The first pilot scheme was at Margetson Crescent shopping centre, which was a well used district centre, but was overcrowded by parked cars and provided a poor pedestrian experience.
